Tata Steel Has Dedicated Three Hospitals To Fight Covid-19 Pandemic

We are stepping into a different world as the planet fights Covid-19 epidemic. With exponentially rising cases in India, there is a constant struggle to provide adequate healthcare. During these testing times, the whole nation has come forward to contribute to fighting this deadly epidemic.

Tata Steel has come to support the nation in the fight against Coronavirus by dedicating Three Tata Steel hospitals with a total of 400 beds in Joda, Ganjam, and Kalinganagar for treatment of coronavirus patients.

Recently an ex-employee who left Tata Steel 26 years back shared about receiving a message from the organization to check his well-being and provide any kind of assistance if required in these difficult times. Truly they are a different breed. They have declared to give full payments to daily wage and contract workers and have contributed Rs 10 crores to Jharkhand CM’s COVID-19 relief fund.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This is not the first time Tata Steel has given such support to the nation. The organization has always considered society as an important stakeholder and has been are continuously working to support them. Some of the important CSR contribution areas sanitation, special education, gender equality, and sustainability.
